Did you know there are two kinds of self-compassion?
It makes sense! Especially when you remember what the purpose of self-compassion is: to alleviate your own suffering.
Sometimes, to lower that "suffering severity," what we need is a big ole' dose of self-acceptance...self-kindness...basically a friendly hug from ourselves.
Other times, we need to take ACTION.
